Materials & care

Every Atella piece is made from 18K gold PVD plating fused into a 316L surgical-grade stainless steel core. The gold is bonded into the steel at a molecular level inside a vacuum chamber — not painted on like standard plating — which is why it doesn't tarnish, doesn't flake, and doesn't react with water, sweat, sunscreen, or chlorine.

You can shower, swim, sleep, and sweat in your Atella pieces without ever taking them off. Care is genuinely minimal: wipe down occasionally with a soft cloth, and avoid abrasive cleaners.

All pieces are nickel-free and lead-free, suitable for sensitive skin and most allergies. All our rings are open-size, so they adjust to any finger.
